Abstract [eng] This article examines regional differentiation of housing provision for young people (aged 18-35) in Lithuania. The main research directions and the latest and most relevant research on housing provision for young people is briefly discussed. Based on the data of a representative youth survey (N = 1201) in Lithuania, inequalities in housing provision (larger cities and other locations clusters) were investigated. The analysis of the survey data revealed that young people living in larger cities are more likely to have access to housing than young people in the other locations. The study revealed differences in the education and labor market situation of young people in cities and regions. It is important that young people in both - cities and other locations - are more likely to emphasize that home ownership rather than renting is a more acceptable form of residence.
