Abstract [eng] The aim of the article is to analyse the relationship between work engagement, adequacy of remuneration, organizational justice and perception of remuneration justice on the cases of Poland and Lithuania. The starting point is the identification of social consequences of inadequate remuneration. The essence of justice has been determined on the basis of a review of philosophers' and ethicists' positions. The need for research to redefine the concept of justice used in management sciences have been noticed. The essence of work engagement and its relations with justice have been pointed out. On the basis of the results of empirical research, the evaluation of remuneration justice by Polish and Lithuanian employees was diagnosed. Correlations between the studied constructs were examined. Conclusions from the conducted analyses contain directions for further research on the justice of remuneration. The research materials has a great practical value and can be used in personnel and pay management.
