The value of agricultural and food products exported in 2007 amounted to 7352.4 mill. Lt and, compared to 2006, went up by 1.36 times. The imports reached 6071.8 mill. Lt and increased by 1.23 times. Lithuanian foreign trade turnover increased by 29.5 per cent in comparison with 2006, and the positive balance amounted to 1280.7 mill. Lt. The largest amounts exported made up dairy products, fruits, prepared animal fodder, cereals. The exports into the EU-27 countries made up 67 per cent of the total exports of agricultural and food products, and the imports from these countries accounted for 82 per cent of the total imports. Russia, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands were the major countries of Lithuanian exports while the largest amounts were imported from Poland, Latvia, Germany, Netherlands, Estonia, Spain, Denmark.
