Abstract [eng] The value of agricultural and food products exported during the I–III quarters of 2007 amounted to 5320.6 mill. Lt and, compared to the same period of 2006, went up by 1.39 times. The imports reached 4366.0 mill. Lt and increased by 1.24 times. According to the Special Trade System, the Lithuanian foreign trade turnover increased by 31.6 per cent in comparison with the I–III quarters of 2006, and a positive balance amounted to 954.6 mill. Lt. The largest amounts exported made up dairy products, fruits, animal feedingstuffs, tobacco products, meat, cereals, products made from meat and fish while fruits and nuts, non-alcoholic bev-erages, fish, meat, miscellaneous food products (CN code 21) was among the largest amounts im-ported. The exports into the EU countries made up 68 per cent of the total exports of agricultural and food products, and the imports from these countries accounted for 83 per cent of the total im-ports. Russia, Germany, Latvia, United Kingdom were the major countries of Lithuania’s exports while the largest amounts imported were from Turkey, Netherlands, Spain, Ukraine. The largest turnover was in trade with Germany, Russia, Poland, Latvia.
